Little Joey

Last weekend I had my first shoot with someone I hadn't met before! I was so excited driving there, but a little nervous. Boy did I hit the jackpot! Little Joey was adorable and mom was beyond gorgeous and fun to talk to to! He had the most gorgeous eyes and her smile was so stunning that I could stayed all day clicking away. I hope I was able to capture what mom was looking for, and that it was the beginning of many photo shoots to come!

My favorite of the day...the hands are off, but, oh, those eyes!

Can you believe this blue???!

And gorgeous smiles that wouldn't quit! How could I not fall in love?

Don't worry little man! I just love his expression.....and hat.

How could we not include mom?!

They are both breathtaking!

I wish there were more synonyms for gorgeous!

See what I mean.

Seriously...beautiful.

Who gets to look this good so soon after having a baby??!!

Bye-bye cutie-pie! Hope I get to see you soon!!

Harper is 6 months!

I can't believe little Harper Julia is 6 months old already! We got together yesterday to let the girls play a little and record this half-way point through Harper's first year. She was more than happy to play model while we were inside, but once outdoors she was not quite as happy...oh well, she still looks gorgeous grumpy!

Daddy picked out her outfit...I think he did a pretty good job and it certainly makes baby happy!

This one just makes me smile!

Hi cutie pie!

Her expressions are growing up as well! I wonder what she is thinking here!

Of course we had to bust out a tutu...love the arm cross!

She is just too cute!

So sad that our balloon blew away.

Yes ma'am, we're almost done!

I believe she is signaling bye-bye here...

Violet's 1st Birthday

So I can't believe my baby is 1 already! It was so fun planning her party and making all the little decorations and goodies. I wanted to be able to run around and take photos, but that's pretty tough when you're trying to host and you have a poor little girl going through separation anxiety stuck to your hip. Here are a few of my favorites!

Here are the goodie bags that I had a blast making! They turned out so cute!

Here comes the birthday girl with her adoring dada.

I had as much fun making her cake as she had smashing it!

Well, at first she was not so sure about it...

But once she got a taste of the yummy strawberry buttercream, she dug right it!

I love, love, love these toes!

I hope you enjoyed your party little one!

cute little n

So, a few days a week I get the pleasure of caring for the daughter of some friends. Mom went back to work after a year of staying home and little n now gets to hang out for a few hours a day with my little v. Yesterday when mom dropped her off, she asked if I had time could a maybe snap a few shots of little n for her to pass on to grandma for Mother's Day. I don't think her car left the complex before I had my camera in hand. Little n decided she would take creative director role, and that the pink, plastic Disney princess chair had to come along. I'm sure that is the prop all the photographers are using these days, but what an almost 2 year old wants, as almost 2 year old gets.

Little did mom know, but I had taken some pictures the day before for HER Mother's Day present!

Little n demanded that the plastic chair be placed inside the blue plastic pool. 2 year olds are SO fun!

and that it be placed in the bushes. I just can't wait for v to reach this age.

I love that she calls the camera a smile. When we're all done she waves at the camera and says, "Bye-bye smile."

This girl is destined to become a model.

She is just so darn cute!

Especially when she smiles!

But I do get this face quite a bit these days and now it's time to go play.

I hope grandma likes her pictures!

The boy's 1st communion

Our friends' son R, or "the boy" as his father fondly refers to him as, had his first communion this weekend. Even more exciting is that he was going to be in the most adorable suit. Bust out the camera! I have never seen anyone less excited about getting dressed up. However the age of peer acceptance has arrived and once he saw all his buddies in suits as well, it became no big deal. Oh my goodness, how cute all those boys in suits and girls in dresses looked, if only they could stay like that forever!

This kid is truly a gift from God.

and a future heartbreaker.

This just melts my heart...so sweet.

This is how Jesus did it. I love it!

little b's birthday

This past weekend we had the honor of attending little b's first birthday. Her mom, who happens to be a wonderful friend, asked if I could take a few pictures. Could I?!! I don't know how she was going to stop me! Anyway, it was a gorgeous day and the decorations were all so cute, but best of all little b loves the camera!

Little b waiting for her party to start.

She had the cutest decorations...

The bubble machine was such a hit! Of course I had to sneak one of my little v in there, although I wish I could put all the kids at the party on here. They were all so stinkin' adorable!

Hi little b, ready for your party?

Could this little birthday princess be any cuter?!!

Pondering the thought of being 1 year old...and getting to enjoy cake!

With parents like this, no wonder little b is so darn gorgeous!

The too-much-cake-I-need-a-nap glazed over look...she was quite a trooper!

The one lonely last cupcake...someone eat me please...

Happy 1st birthday little b!
